Month after month, APEM and IDEC continue their digital transformation. Remote work and interactions, the proliferation of digital tools to gain flexibility and efficiency are as important for us as for our customers.
These efficiency gains must not hide the risks linked to these new tools and emerging work methods. This is why we are strengthening the security of our IT tools and information systems in parallel.
This reality does not only concern our IT department. All APEM and IDEC EMEA employees are aware of and involved in IT security. "Sharing good practices, knowing what is recommended to do or not to do, at home and at work, is essential if we want to preserve our systems and our data", explains Hervé Jeanniard, APEM HR Director. Internal actions are carried out in this sense, the latest being the launch of a competition in which employees from all our subsidiaries around the world can participate. A bit of common sense, a few references to the APEM IT set of rules... Each employee can answer the questions asked online. The best answers will be rewarded; there is nothing like a game to make employees aware of an issue!
Protecting ourselves from external intrusions means protecting our company, its reputation and its assets, but also our customers and partners. By guaranteeing the security and continuity of our activities, we ensure that we do not penalize our customers and that we continue to act to their satisfaction.
